Korean corporation DONGIL (Dongil Rubber Belt Co. ltd) - one of the largest manufacturers of rubber products in the world. The plants of the corporation operate in the territory of Korea, China, Slovakia, and Vietnam.
The company began operations in 1945 with the construction of the first chemical plant Dongil Chemical Works. Until the late 60's the company was engaged in the production of drive belts, technical rubber products for industry and research in its field. Since mid-1967, the company, together with Hyundai Motors, has begun developing rubber products of a new level of quality for the automotive industry.
In 1975, a large-scale production of rubber products for various vehicles, including Korean cars, was launched.
In 2006, a low noise belt was developed, resistant to vibration, which has no analogues. Currently, DRB plants produce belts, dampers, timing kits, tensioners, as well as belts for industrial machines, conveyor lines and other.
All products are widely used both in the domestic market of Korea, and on the outside. The DONGIL products are delivered to the assembly shops of GENERAL MOTORS, HYUNDAI & KIA, SSANG YONG and SAMSUNG MOTORS.
